I think about you most during those few minutes of absolute silence before I sleep. You used to make the silence bearable, but now it just mocks me.
I was setting up my parents’ anniversary gifts in the kitchen (my sister and I usually give my parents gifts on their anniversary) and then my dad woke up out of nowhere and walked out to the kitchen. I told him that he couldn’t see what I was giving him and my mom, so he immediately turned around and yelled that he “saw absolutely nothing.” My dad.. LOL
The best thing to do when you’re trying to forget about something is to replace it and devote your full attention on something else.
